The Queen's Inquisitor Vol 5Sources who were in attendance to the evening of drinking and gambling said: Sir Walter was sure that he finally had a hand of cards that would win against Stimpzilla. The wager, should he win, would be a new sword cloak from the well sought after tailor. Should he loose, Stimpzilla would take back the suit of pearls from Sir Walter that she had made for him, and Sir Walter would pay all sumptuary taxes due, should she wear the suit. The suit consisting of a doublet, and paned slops is encrusted in one thousand pearls and has 50 meters of gold and silver trim. Much to the hilarity of the court Stimpzilla proudly walked out into the court gardens yesterday wearing the now famous suit of pearls, including the basket hilt rapier and hat commissioned for the outfit. We are still waiting to see if Queen Elizabeth will charge the sumptuary taxes, or forgive them due to the amusement the court. |
