This piece consists of one geometric shape, which is double linked for aesthetic purposes. This also provides added strength.
In early Tudor times the long chain dropping down from the waist was the style, later on during the Elizabethan period, the long chain was removed. This girdle can be made up to give you the option of either choice. Or one could have the belt made so that the long chain is removable and could also be worn as a matching necklace.
