Reverse Leather Applique Doublet FrontView
This page shows the back piece of the reverse leather applique doublet. The doublet back still has the tissue attached. The tissue is the top layer, the leather is beneath it and the silk taffeta makes up the final layer of the doublet backj. The tissue will be peeled away leaving the leather and silk taffeta behind. Then parts of the leather will be cut away up to the stitching, making the reverse applique.
