Couched Silk Brocade Gown Renaissance
This view of the Elizabethan renaissance gown shows the pearled black velvet forepanel. Each of the pearls is hand sewn and individually knotted. Simple enough to do, but requires some patience. Pearls were most often the jewel of choice for all Elizabethan renaissance clothing.
