Forest Green Cut Velvet Renaissance Gown

The bodice, overskirt and great sleeves of this custom renaissance gown is made of forest green cut velevt with a large geometric floral inspired pattern. It is trimed with a black jacquard ribbon with dull gold metalic threads making the geometric pattern. The bodice has large glass pearls sewn onto the ribbon. While we typically use real fresh water pearls on our gowns, the expense of genuine pearls in this case were just a bit too much. This style can be used for a renaissance wedding gown, and is likely to get you listed on the Queen's Sumptuary List as it is fit for the H.R.M.Queen herself.

The great sleeves are lined in black peau de soi and is cartridge pleated to the bodice. The inner sleeves are made of burgundy peau de soi, lined in black cotton and are trimed with the jacquard ribbon at the cuff.

The overskirt is cartridge pleated.

The fore-panel is made of burgundy and non metalic gold brocade in a celtic cross pattern.
