Celtic Renaisance Wedding Gown InfromationThe Lady who wears this Celtic Cross Brocade gown is independent of mind and spirit. Well educated and able to speak several languages, she is know as a great whit at court with an astute understanding of politics. Her dowry is large enough that she can marry for love, and she will attract the bravest and most intelligent of Lords. Only a man of Nobel blood, skilled at arms and the arts, need court this Lady. And woe unto him if he is not well versed in both the sciences and arts. Sleeves are made of black peau de soie, a satin like fabric with the correct body for the time period, and are lined in black cotton and can be hand washed. The cuffs are edged with more of the same trim as the bodice. The inner sleeves attach to the bodice using small hidden loops and are laced black grosgrain ribbon. The overskirt is hand cartridge pleated into the waist band, with a circumference of 160". The fore-panel is made from the black peau de soie and is lined in black cotton canvas. |
