Blush Silk Renaissance Gown Details
Bodice, overskirt and sleeves, are made from gold and blush changeable shantung silk. The trim work adorning the bodice, overskirt and sleeves are made of silver tinsel trim. Between the rows of trim are bows made from silver and taupe changeable silk taffeta, with fresh water pearls sewn to the centers.
The sleeves are made of the same material as the bodice and overskirt.
The overskirt is hand cartridge pleated into the waist band, with a circumference of about 180". And is trimed in the same manner as the bodice.
The underskirt is faked with cream linen as proper for an Elizabethan underskirt and has a slight train. The fore-panel is made of silk lampas. Further details can be found on the linked pictures.
