Blush Silk Gown Renaissance Dress
This page shows information about our blush silk renaissance gown.
Bodice, overskirt and sleeves, are made from gold and blush changeable shantung silk. The trim work adorning the bodice, overskirt and sleeves are made of silver tinsel trim. Between the rows of trim are bows made from silver and taupe changeable silk taffeta, with fresh water pearls sewn to the centers. The underskirt is made of silk lampas.
Like our other Silk Brocade Gown, this Elizabethan gown is styled after gowns from the 1560's, such as the Helena Snakeborg portrait. The Unknown Lady, and the Colleccio portrait of Isabel De Valois. We just couldn't decide on which variation we liked more, so we created them both. And our Muse was all for it.
